What turned out to be a stunningly clear late autumn day ,boosted the field to a smashing 76 runners on the morning.
Folks were still arriving as I gave the race briefing and beyond, with Mercias Rick Robson starting a good few minutes after
the main field. After watching all slog up the valley to the bottom of Corndon proper, and then again come over the 3rd peak of LLan Fawr heading for home ,
not many didn't look as though they had been amply tested by this lovely little race.
Maldywns own Tim Davies took the honours ,with Anne Bartlett dashing home for the ladies top slot.
A totally rewarding
morning washed down with a superb pint of Big Nevs in the Miners Arms afterwards. It just couldn't get much better.
Thanks to all who ran and helped me on the day. See you all next year. Paul Beeson.
