The inaugural Ras Mynydd Swtan saw 23 runners, including 5 juniors, set off from Porth Swtan beach in fine, warm conditions (following the departure of sea mist!).  Paul Jenkinson had a narrow lead at the summit but pulled away on the

descent to finish comfortably ahead of Eilir Evans and Phil Pilbeam.

15 year old Lisa Peters had a fine run to finish in 7th position, with 11 year old

Bronwen Jenkinson finishing 12th.

My thanks go to sponsors The Lobster Pot Restaurant, Church Bay; Christine's School of Motoring and The Wavecrest Cafe and to the landowners for their permission.
