Unfortunately, conditions were extremely bad with high winds, heavy rain and mist. Many athletes finished having lost their numbers in the wind and rain. Consequently, although there was only one athlete who Did Not Finish, recording at the finish was difficult and the above three were not given placings. The number 106 was given to the recorders twice, hence the appearance of that athlete at placements 30 and 49.
