We had a great day for the first run of this race in a number of years. 40 runners entered and completed the course successfully. The weather was dry and sunny although a little windy up near the summit.

The first man home was Andrew Salt of Ludlow Runners in 43:21, the first lady was Sarah Morwood representing Mud Crew in 49:53.

The local community of Rhiwlas supported the event providing a number of marshals and helping with set up and break down of the course. The run was held in conjunction with the village fair which provided great refreshment for locals and runners alike.

Feedback from the runners was very positive with all seeming to enjoy the run, the view from the summit and the hospitality.

John - thanks for your help and advice when I first contacted you, I'm looking forward to putting the race on again next year, a little wiser for the experience.
