Friday saw the return of the Dash in the Dark series held at Coed Llandega.
A large turnout with a total of 61 runners set off into the dark forest for 6km of unknown !
The weather had been wet in the days leading up to the first race in the series, but on the night the clouds cleared to reveal the full moon.
First back in a blistering time was Karl Steinegger, Ambleside AC on (25:15), closely followed by Thomas Hiles, (25:41) and Dean Yarwood (29:32).
First of the ladies back was Sarah Ryder , Wrexham Tri (33:16), then Sandra Rowlands, Eryri (33:25) and Claire Sutcliffe, Chester Tri (33:45).

The Dash in the Dark races take place on a Friday evening at at the Llandegla forest visitors centre (now One Planet Adventure). We have the backing of the centre and have received the access agreement from the forest owners. The races are WFRA insured.
