Damp, yet calm conditions greeted 63 runners in the 2014 edition of this 9 mile trail race. John Morris, of organising club Denbigh Harriers, stormed home in a highly creditable 55.35, with Andy Campbell from Wrexham Tri, close on his heels. Lisa Morley, of Wrexham AC, was first lady with 67.07, with Wendy Trimbel winning her category with 67.54. As usual, the Running Bear socks were a popular finisher's momento and thanks go to the terrific team at the Brenig Centre who provide a HQ centre that has few rivals among race organisers in the region!        Peter Agnew
