The fabulous weather inspired Hugh Aggleton to break a new course record of one hour, one minute and 44 seconds. A big well done to the 41 hardy competitors who took part. Thanks hugely to our marshals Joc Dodd, Paul Dodd, Denise Evans, Mike Evans, timer John Chidlow and results helper Matthew Lawson plus his band of little helpers, and our stalwart sweeper Judith Austerberry. This year no-one forgot to go up Fan by Big, everyone who started, finished, and all the home-baked cakes (OK then, Lidls value offerings) were polished off.
