Wonderful day for a gallop downhill. Meiryonnyd's Ifan Richards was around a minute quicker than last year but still fell short of the men's record - however he obviously thoroughly enjoys this race. Helen Fines came over from Yorkshire and knocked over a minute off the ladies record with a fabulous exhibition of gallopment. Very pleased to see good support from local clubs Denbigh Harriers and Prestatyn RC plus the incredible emergent team of Femmes Fatales from Ruthin (with one honorary Hommes Fatale!) Rich Davies and Rob Butler posed as Biggles and Robin Hood and a good time was had by all - thanks to my sturdy team of timekeepers!
